Bonjour Nathalie.
DeleteMerci pour le commentaire. Les étourneaux sont de très jolis oiseaux.
Bisous et bon week-end à toi aussi. Diane
They are fabulous pictures. The sparrows are such good parents!
ReplyDeleteThank you Marie, I think birds are amazing parents as the youngsters always see very impatient. Have a good day, Diane
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful birds! I love the Magpie. The photos with the little elephant are cute. Take care, have a happy day!
Hi Eileen and thanks for the comment. The Magpies are lovely looking birds but they eat other birds eggs and even eat the young. A friend took a video of one killing an adult sparrow so they are not really very popular here! Keep well and have a good week Diane
DeleteHurricane Hanna. ...I think it's over. Power went out yesterday about 1 pm...didn't get any A.C. until it was restored about 9 this morning. High winds, sporadic heavy rain, and last night tornadoes all over the area. No damage for us except lots of small branches.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and linking up this weekend. Bud & I have a bit of clean-up to do, so my visit is short.
Hi Anni, glad to hear that you had no major damage, I must check with a couple of friends who live in Texas how they are, but as they are both further inland I hope they missed it. Take care, keep safe and hope the clean up is not too difficult. Thanks for hosting, Diane
DeleteLovely captures as always! There are plenty of pigeons in our city ☺
ReplyDeleteKanaks Natalia. We only have the two pigeons around here and that is enough they eat so much!! Keep safe Diane
DeleteEach of those birds has a distinct personality. I am matching them with my colleague's dispositions (but, shh, don't tell! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOL that could be quite funny, Keep safe, cheers Diane
DeleteBeautiful, Diane. I particularly love the shot of the sparrow riding the elephant!
ReplyDeleteTake good care and stay safe - - - Richard
Those are super pictures of your House Sparrows. You simply wouldn't realise how scarce and shy House Sparrows are around here. There's no way I could get those shots.
DeleteI know whay you mean about Blogger but I think that they will automatically put you on new blogger at some date soon. Pretty sure I read that recently.
Thanks Richard the soapstone carvings certain improve some of the bird photos, could be quite boring without them. I have a full chess set but they are a bit small to go ourside!
DeleteYou stay safe also - very best wishes to you both and the family, Diane
Thanks Phil the house sparrows here are not that shy but the robin is very shy which I found in the UK was certainly not. Google have said you can convert back on Blogger so I will stay there until I have to change. I tried it and did not like it!! Keep well Diane
