  1. Your little owl is stool around! I do love that green finch...its markings are very pretty.

Thank you for taking time to join us at IRBB this week. Hope to see you link up again soon.

Ps. Your link is broken again so, I'll go add a corrected one. Seems your link has too many html on the end of your url link.

    1. Thanks Anni, I just copy and paste the link so I do not know what the problem is but thanks for sorting it out!! The little owls are always around, though not simple to see unless they go onto one of the barns. In the trees they are impossible. Have a good week, Diane

  2. The owl is quite a fascinating fellow, though small. He looks like he was dotted with paint.

    1. Thanks Hilary, not sure why we seem so busy, but maybe as we are never going out I am spending more time in the kitchen as well as trying to keep the weeds down in the garden. Keep well and yes stay safe also. Diane

  6. Those are wonderful yard birds...how lucky to have them all and (as you say) especially the little owl! Look at him sitting up there on your roof!

  7. These birds all look plump and very well fed.

  8. Nice shots Diane. It looks to me that the owls are breeding right in the gaps where the tiles overlap.

The young Great Tits are more yellow around the face,"fluffier" and the black parts less distinct. Gets harder the more the summer progresses.

  12. Nice birds. We have introduced Green Finches here - makes me wonder why nobody every brought Great, Blue etc Tits to Australia - probably for the best, but I'm still surprised.

Hope all is well - Stewart M - Melbourne

  14. Our lake is like a giant birdbath. When the Oregon Juncos are nesting they bring their chicks down to the water's edge to play and bathe in the shallows. They are so much fun to watch. - Margy
