As above.
Curiosity at the window looking in - Great Tit (Parus major).
House sparrow up to the same trick.
Blue tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) turning its back on me...
But it also soon becomes inquisitive LOL.
We have had a lot of rain and the window sill seems popular for some protection.

DeleteHi Diane - we've had your rain too ... but lovely photos of the birds through the window ... the sparrows are a friendly 'flock' ... yes I wonder what they want that's inside! Enjoy the weekend with its autumnal work to hand ... Hilary
ReplyDeleteThe birds are funny on the window sill, there is some food there, but they seem intent this year on trying to remove the bird shape stickers on the window to stop them flying into the glass!! Have a good weekend, Diane
DeleteIf only I could see a House Sparrow in our garden! I m as managed to off load a huge pile of apples today. Stinky the pig Will be very happy.
ReplyDeleteHaha. a happy pig by the sound of it. Wish I could send over a few sackfuls of acorns to Stinky as well!!

DeleteYou always seem to make the house sparrows look cute. Ours only ever eat all my bird seed, not leaving enough for the other birds. The blue tit is very pretty. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteOurs also eat a lot but the others get their fair share. Have a good week and stay safe, Diane
DeleteThat Tit is amazing! (That sounds a bit like porn) I love close-up photos so much...awesome.

ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
I have to say the sparrows keep me amused, we do though have quite a lot of the hungry little fellows!
DeleteKeep safe Diane
it is always a delight to see birds bathing and the little Bule Tit images are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks Margaret and yes I agree the Blue Tits are lovely and friendly. Keep well Diane
DeleteBanging on the window to be let in. Reminds me of when I've been out birding all morning - LOL. I think you're feeding those birds too well Diane. or they all think they have a rival who just happens to be identical to themselves?
ReplyDeleteThis is the first year that the sparrows have come to the window, not sure why they have suddenly become so brave, it was always the Blue Tits or the Great Tits. Keep well and take care Diane
