ReplyDeleteThanks Marie, they are lovely birds and the very first ID I made on moving to our house in France. Keep well Diane
DeleteBeautiful Diane. I hope you are now finished all the canning and can rest a bit. Enjoy the remainder of your week. xx
ReplyDeleteHi Penny, yes pretty much caught up now, just vegetables to bring in to store for winter. Yo have a good week also Diane
DeleteHi Diane - congratulations on all your gardening and then subsequent harvesting and storing all your organic produce - excellent to read about - though can see the time it's taking. Lovely photos of the little birds around the garden ... take care and enjoy the days ahead - Hilary
ReplyDeleteHi Hilary, yes it was very time consuming but now almost back to normal what ever that is this year!! Hope you are well, stay safe and have a good remainder of the week, Diane
DeleteSparrows are very cute, they are very common in here. Have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteNatalia we have dozens of them here but in time of need for bird photos they come in very useful! Keep safe and well, Diane
DeleteEnjoyable bird images!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kenneth, all pretty common but...... Have a good Sunday, Diane
DeletePretty birds! Especially enjoyed the black redstart images. Our sparrows tend to come in large groups and empty my feeders a lot sooner than many of my other birds. Hope you are having a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jean I love the Black Redstarts. The sparrows arrive in very large groups here as well!! Keep safe Diane
DeleteSuper captures! (Love the sparrow on the statue)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing this week at I'd Rather B Birdin'. Have a glorious week ahead!
Thanks Anni, sorry I am struggling to keep up and photos are not so easy to come by when one is very busy. Keep safe Diane
DeleteHi Diane. Those are super images of your Black Redstart. If i was to tell you my list of birds from Skiathos this year you would be amazed. The weather was so superb that nothing much dropped onto the island. Best was flocks of Bee Eaters flyovers on Day One following the end of a thunderous day. After that, sun, sun, sun.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to Skiathos, but out next holiday, if it ever happens, is to do this years cancelled holiday of a month touring Italy. At this stage I wonder if we will ever have another holiday, we are not getting any younger and how much longer will we be able to travel far and wide. COVID could go on for a long time yet!!!
DeleteKeep well and stay safe Diane
They all look very well fed.
ReplyDeleteThey are!!!! The insect eaters though mostly have to do their own meals :-) Hard to find dried food for them here in France and too expensive to import it all the time from the UK. Keep well Diane
