Hi Diane, your birds in the bath photos always bring a smile to my face. I hope you are doing well and that it isn't raining too much. After promised rain last week we are finally getting some this week. I say "finally" because I want it to water my garden which I only just put in. Have a great week ahead.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see birds in the bath it always makes me happy to watch them. I wish I had more time to just sit there! Thank goodness it looks like we have a few dry days, I need to get out into the garden!! Keep well. Diane
DeleteHee, hee, yes I can just imagine the song as he is taking a dip.
ReplyDeleteThey are such fun to watch, if only I ha a few extra hours in the day to just sit and watch. Hope all is well Diane
DeleteHi Diane - gorgeous to see and I love your captions ... fun. While the South African ones from Chriselle are delightful to see ... take care - Hilary
ReplyDeleteI love Christelle's photos but she is not taking as many as she used to sadly. The Bird bath is always a pleasure to watch. Have a good day, cheers Diane
DeleteThank you for sharing such wonderful photographs!
ReplyDeleteI suddenly have an urge to fill the bathtub, jump in and splash around like I did about a hundred years ago .....
Thanks Wally for your visit and comment. Yes splashing around used to be fun many years ago 😊. Have a good day, Diane
DeleteThat's a really young Blackbird there Diane. I've not seen one yeat but know there are some ina couple of nests, quite close to our back door. The parent's warning are a dead giveaway - usually cats. I hardly ever see House Sparrows in our garden. You'd be amazed how few we have nowadays.
ReplyDeleteConsidering I have seen two dead blackbirds recently I was happy to see several over the past few days despite with the wet soil they are digging up my seedlings!! Wish I could send you a few dozen sparrows we have plenty to spare. Keep safe, Diane
DeleteCoucou Diane.
Bises Diane
The birds in the bath are so cute! I always giggle when I see them flutter and fluff!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing them playing in the water, wish I had more time to watch. Keep safe Diane
DeleteLove the photos of the birds bathing. They look very happy. Hope you are having a happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteHappy birds when they are bathing they all seem to enjoy it so much. Thanks for the visit. Diane
DeleteYou take the best action photos Diane!! I can almost hear the splashing. And the African birds are marvels, some I'll not see ever.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day and thanks for coming by to link up at I'd Rather B Birdin'!
Thanks Anni and thanks for hosting, always appreciated. Diane
DeleteYou always get lots of action around a bird bath. Nice shots.
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Thanks Stewart, I am just so short of time to blog!!!! Keep safe, Diane
Deletean interesting end to your post in the fact that the Crowned Hornbill became my 1000th Life bird so will always hold a special memory for me.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you got some Greenfinch in your post too, they are my Garden regular here in East Cheshire.
Thanks for the visit and the comment, always very welcome. We have had a lot of Greenfinches this year normally I only see them at the feeder during the beginning of spring and then they disappear. Hope you have a good weekend Diane
