That feels better.
Common buzzard (Buteo buteo) seen overhead. There were 5 of them playing. Presumably, parents and 3 well brought up youngsters, quite a feat. The most I could get in one shot was only 3.

Hi Diane - wonderful photos ... always love looking at them. Pretty males, as well as the more useful females ... while the young blackbird was a delight to see ... such fun - all the best - Hilary
ReplyDeleteThanks Hilary, just wish I had more time to sit and wait for some more interesting bird that might arrive!! Take care Diane
DeleteThe young Blackbird on the statue made me laugh. This is when "bird watching" really comes into play. I know birders who wouldn't dream of taking a picture of a common thing like a Blackbird. Sad but true.
ReplyDeleteThose owls are giving you the run around aren't they? We are out of lockdown now and soon back to normal I think. But the Government will never admit they have made serious mistakes in following poor scientific advice and over reacting. It's not a popular view I know.
The owls are still giving me the run around!!!!! I am so enjoying being able to get out and walk further then the 1 km radius! Stay safe Diane
DeleteOutstanding birds! That male chaffinch is dazzling. Thanks so much for linking with us at I'd Rather B Birdin this week (as always)

ReplyDeleteHope you are staying well.
