Mistle thrush (Turdus viscivorus)
The first mistle thrush I have seen in 15 years of living in France!

As above.  It was far away and I thought it might have been a blackbird with the naked eye, only when I got home did I discover it was a thrush!

Photos taken while out on my lockdown walk.

They were all quite far so not the best photos.
We are only allowed out for 1 hour a day and we can go no further than 1 km radius from home.  We also have to carry a dated and timed certificate with us.  Fines are heavy if caught cheating!

Luckily for me, we have farmland all around us and I can walk without seeing anyone most of the time.

They then decided to go even further afield...

Checking out the muddy interior...

Getting closer...

Splish, splash...

rub a dub, dub...

Ha, so there, I do not need your clean water !!!!!

Blue tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) on the window sill.
