  4. If only you knew how rare our UK Grey Partridge are now. You are lucky indeed and I hope your local sportsmen do not shoot the rest of your "french partridge". The problem is, i am told, they are good to eat! And, I quite like pictures of tits, Page three or otherwise.

    1. Phil it appears to be rare here as well so I an very honoured to have seen one in the garden. It was extremely lucky as the only reason I was in the garden so late when it appeared was because I was clearing up after the chimney sweep had been and he had to clear out one of our gutter down pipes that had broken and fix it. It was obviously meant to be. Have a good weekend Diane

  8. A Grey Partridge in our garden would be a miracle, Diane - even a sighting in Leicestershire would be notable! Bast wishes to you both in these now increasingly difficult times - - - Richard

    1. Richard I gather they are pretty rare here as well. Someone in the Dordogne said that have not seen one in years. I was just so lucky to be in the garden late evening to see it, only because the chimney sweep had arrived late! It was obviously meant to be.
Take care and please stay safe, life is getting more complicated by the day! Best wishes to you both Diane

    1. Haha, it seems they are rarer than hens teeth in both France and the UK so we were more than lucky to have it visit. Keep safe Diane
