  1. Lovely. Africa must have the most beautiful birds on earth and certainly more variety than most other places. I love the Crimson Breasted Shrike and the Beeeaters, both new to me.

I agree that South Africa really has some beautiful birds, but Australia probably has even more, but maybe not the same variety. When we first arrived in Europe I was disappointed in the birds, but as I have got to know them better there really are some very pretty birds here as well. Take care Diane

    2. Yes, Australia has some awesome birds too. But having travelled to both continents several times, I think I saw more birdlife in Africa without really trying ;-)

    3. We saw lots of parrots in Australia but I think we saw a much bigger variey in RSA, so I agree with you there. Diane

  3. Thanks Marie for the comment. There are some lovely birds in Africa and I got to take a lot of photos while we were there. I just though that the best plan was to but them on a separate blog. Hope that you follow the other posts as well. Enjoy your day Diane
