DeleteIt's always such a pleasure to see your bird captures Diane, I would loooove to be able to take shots like this 🐦🐤
ReplyDeleteNo skill from my part just the camera!!!! Take care Diane
DeleteGreat feeder bird pictures....especially nice captures of the sparrow argument and make up, and the altercation between species. The chaffinch with that elephant garden sculpture is cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sallie, not always easy to get action shots butI love them when I can. Take care Diane
DeleteThese shots are amazing Diane, I love them all. It is hard choice to choose a favorite.
ReplyDeleteI agree no particular favourites here, but all ones I particularly like. Cheers Diane
DeleteGreat pictures. Love the 'tiff' the birds had and then made up. Cute.
ReplyDeleteHaha, photos telling a story, I also loved it. Thanks for the comment, enjoy your week. Diane
DeleteNice series! Particularly funny the altercation shots...
ReplyDeleteI love something a bit different and these were certaily that.😉Enjoy the weekend Diane
DeleteYour pictures are amazing. I know you said they are common birds, but not to me. I am in lower Middle Tennessee, USA and they are new to me. I enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing on Wild Bird Wednesday.

I know the problem as the 'common birds' in the USA are unkown to me. They are though much easier to look up than some of the African birds I have been writing about. Enjoy your weekend Diane
DeleteYesterday the weather turned a tiny bit cooler and the hummingbirds must have felt the change. They have flown south except for about three. Others that are further north will be traveling through, and we will see a few each day until the middle of October. They were enjoyable for a while.

Well I could certainly relate to those Diane. What a shame that you do not see Song Thrush, but if it's an consolation they are fairly scarce in gardens over here. For instance I've not seen one in our semi-ruaral garden in about three years. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteYes I am sure most of our European birds are ones that you would relate to. We need another trip th Africa 😊 I understand that thrush is a delicacy in France though I admit to never having seen it on the menu thankgoodness!!
DeleteThe weekend just vanished, have a great week Diane
