    I am not familiar with any of these birds, where did you photograph them?
    They are very beautiful!

    What do you use to assist you identify the birds? A book? The Internet? Is there an app?

      I have an excellent book on South African Birds and also one on Euopean birds. There is a site that covers the birds of St Kitts and Nevis. There is an app for Apple called Merlin Bird ID but as I do not have apple I have not done any research on it. There is also a free App called eBird which again I have not used but it is very popular and I gather very good. Hope this helps. Take care Diane

    I remember seeing lots of Banaaquits in Dom Rep -they were absolutely everywhere and seemed to extremely common. I guess you'll feel the cold when you get home, but not like here.

      Phil this trip to Nevis was last November/December and the weather was amazing!! We arrive in the UK this year 18 December and will be caring for FIL with Alzheimer for 6 weeks. We will be feeling the cold!!! Have a good week Diane
