    1. Hi Hilary, not sure where all the time is going to at present but I am just not keeping up. The days are far too short and we are not even going anywhere thanks to COVID! Thanks for keeping up with me, Diane

  4. Nice section of birds - it often surprises me that not more of these 'garden species' were introduced to Australia (although it's probably a good thing)

Sorry for rather long silence, things have been a bit crazy here.

    1. Stewart I think it is good that more have not been introduced. When that happens it is normally the native animals that suffer. Keep well Diane

    1. Hi Pam the Goldfinch is a pretty bird, but they do not often come close, and we do not see them other than for a few weeks in a year. Thanks for the visit, Diane

  7. It's good to see your garden bathed in sunshine rather than rain. And to hear of your Cuckoo, the sound of spring even if they are very difficult to see. We're still stuck in northerlies and very few migrants making it as yet. I think they are queuing up at the French side of the channel.

  11. One cannot let the garden go unattended in spring - it is liable to escape!

    Nice set of pictures.
